Hello from San Diego

Post by PhilthyPhil »

Hello all.

I’m glad to be a part of this forum, I used it a ton when I was looking to get my first classic ford. I ended up going with a 1968 F250 Ranger. It has the 360 and is 2WD. I’ve wanted a 5th generation ford truck for as long as I can remember and I’m glad to have one now. The truck was manufactured in San Jose and I picked it up from the 2nd owner in Pasadena. 2nd owner did a handful of shotty work (rigged together repairs and trim pieces from a few other years, nothing major though) that I hope to correct with my son over the next few years, seems this place has a wealth of information that’s going to be a ton of help.

Nothing too much so far just fixing up leaks here and there, new gaskets all around. Trying to find time. Getting original badges and proper gear grill put on next.
