New steering column!

Post by dduude »

I took the big leap and purchased a IDIDIT column. It went in great . I just have to wire it into my system. I also bought a welder and am going to start doing some serious body work .. Dude 8)

Looks great! The only thing I don't like is that they are made from a GM design if your trying to keep it all FORD but you have to do what you have to do.

The column is tilt and it was just recently painted by owner . Voxmobil is the brand of the 4-track player. Most people do not know what it is. I got it on ebay, three for the price of one . I have not ventured to see if it works as I do not have a plug connector.. Dude 8)

I see you shaved most of the drip rail. Do you have more pics of the back of the cab? Did you splice in a roof and the back of a cab from an older F1? I see the small back window. I ask about the roof too, because it has a different shape as well. It looks awesome! 8)

I got that too, chrome with tilt, wiring it is proving a pain, let me know how yours goes. I used to say all I have left to do is wire it up.....that was 2 months ago. It went in grate and worked with the newer ps box, better than cutting column but $$$.

Nice looking column. I just bought a new Flaming RIver but I went a little shorter than stock to get teh wheel out of my chest. Looks good in there.

Dude! That is looking good. I like the roof and back window. That tilt looks sweet. Nice inside as well.

Keep up the good work man, thanks for the pictures.
