I purchased a set of the door window shades, and of course there are no instructions on how to mount these. Each shade has two small screws, and a small hole on each end of the shade. Has anyone ever installed these on their truck? If so, where do you drill the holes? I maybe over thinking these, but I don't want to start drilling holes in the wrong places. Any tricks to installing these? Do they need to slip under the door glass rubber molding.
Any help is greatly appreciated. https://www.npdlink.com/product/window- ... %26year%3D

Re: Door Window Shades
Yes, they install between the window channel and the metal door frame. It squeezes right between and will hold in place even without the screws.
But put in the 2 screws through the holes in the shades.
Drill SMALL holes into the door frame metal at an appropriate angle - after the shade is pushed fully into position, screw in the screws.
You can see the screw in the 1st picture.
The shades are a quality accessory.
