Re: Bed side tool box
I did not have a key for mine and it was locked when I got the bed. I called a locksmith and for $20 he said could make a key but before I did that I got one of the straight ones off of ebay for about $6. I put the end that needed the curve in a vise and bent it to match the door. The body of the latch doesn't need to be curved (bent) just the edge of it.
LMC or Dennis Carpenter should have the seal.

I've not been able to find a tool box door seal from anyone. D.C. does not make them for bumps. I would love to hear if anyone has information otherwise because I've been looking for one for over 30 years!!

Re: Bed side tool box
I have never seen one for bumps either, Dennis Carpenter makes one for the dents. Your only choice might be to go NOS off ebay, or Green Sales etc:

If you can find a part number that would probably help, or just give them a call. This thread has a schematic, that you may be able to get a partial number from: http://fordification.com/forum/viewtopi ... =7&t=74664

I've sourced a few companies that specialize in rubber gaskets / moldings. I'm looking at one that looks close. If it works, I'll post on here.

Re: Bed side tool box
I believe the toolbox door is the same size either bump or dent, I got the dent side gasket and it looks like it will fit.

Re: Bed side tool box
The contour of the door is what's different despite the size. . The dent is more flat. Still, it would be interesting to know if one could be made to fit. Please let us know of your results.
