interior lights

Post by 70xlt »

HI, another problem. I'm fortunate to have you guys to help my old self out. I'm reassembling a wore out f100, when disassembled the bulb was missing in the interior cab as well as the door switches. Now when I put the bulb back in the light will not turn off. only one side door has the switch installed and the dash switch is in the off position. Where/how do I find the problem. The bed light now works properly as not before. This project is taking me to school.

Thanks
LT

Hi, 70xlt:

What year truck are you talking about?

Bed light? You referring to a cargo light? Do you have a separate switch to control that?

Gauges/idiot lights shouldn't make a difference for this part of the wiring.
