I'm going to make an offer soon on a new cab. As much as I hate to scrap mine, it's beyond what I'm capable of repairing.
My truck has a 4 speed and the cab I'm looking at has an auto trans, I know I can cut the hump out for the gear shift, but is it any problem to
mount the clutch pedal and linkage in the new cab? Thanks for any advice.

Re: cab swap transmission question
No problem at all. The whole pedal assembly just bolts in. Might have to cut a hole in the floor for the clutch linkage. If you have the removable high hump cover in your old truck, you probably will have to swap that in too.

Re: cab swap transmission question
There is a cover plate in floor for clutch linkage. Remove two screws and put boot in.
