First, thanks for all the help on getting it painted.
its not the best paint job but im happy with it and she is protected now.
Im going to be painting all the trim, bumpers, mirrors, handles, grill, wheels next, what does everything think would be a good color for them? I was thinking something like a metallic, my son wanted me to do eveything in red or everything in metallic and the letters on the hood in red. I'm not a big fan of red.
Thanks

Re: All painted
If it were mine I'd leave the grille surround and mirrors and door handles natural , "IF "they aren't in too bad of shape .
Rubbing compoud might clean them up.
Otherwise a lighter argent / silver to accent the darker grey would look OK.
Then two tone the grill inserts light / dark.
Maaaybe, painting the inside of the hood letters red would look ok but it's not how the factory did it.

Re: All painted
I let my son do the picking since it will be his truck one day, he wants everything hammer black and letters on the hook red. I wanted to do a dark hammer grey metallic.
Everything was pretty bad, on some of the stuff I had to use primer and fill, but it looks OK now for a truck that's 45 years hold.
Thanks
