sunroof in 67 f100
Has anyone ever fabricated up themselves or have seen a sun roof in a 67 f100? If so what make of car/suv sun roof was used? Were they happy with the finished product?

Re: sunroof in 67 f100
About 30 years ago I installed sunroofs , so naturally I installed one in my truck.
It was a '77 F150 and I enjoyed it .
These days I probably wouldn't cut up a nice truck to put one in.
But if I did I would get a quality aftermarket pop up style , they have less things to go wrong.
Don't get a small one (15X30) they look silly ,a 17X35 fills the roof well.
Most factory sliding roofs drop down and slide back in the headliner, and there's not enough room in a truck
plus they're expensive.
They now make a tilt and slide sunroof that pops up and slides back but again they're kinda pricey.
I hope this helps

Are there aftermarket ones just for these trucks or did have you order one for a different car/SUV? Thanks for the info!

The aftermarket sunroofs are designed to fit anything.
The basic sizes are 15X30 and 17X35 and many other choices.
It's been 12 years since I was in the business.
Try C R Laurence or SFC if they still do sunroofs. ??
They should come with instructions and a template.
you will need basic tools and a jigsaw and balls enough to cut a hole in your roof.

Just remember, all sunroofs eventually leak
