Pictures of Dash to Dells 16 posted
I just finished posting a new album at my Webshots Gallery of Pictures taken from the 16th Annual Dash to the Dells, Wisconsins biggest (and only) Ford F100 cruise & show held last weekend. The sponsors, the Badgerland F100s started in 1989 and include members from IA, IL, IN, MI, MI, & WI. We had 95 registered Sat. at 11AM, with an average of 3 people per registrant. Cruise Friday had 50-60 Trucks and was blessed with perfect weather. Attached are a couple teasers. Nothing as big as Keiths show, but it is (almost) all Classic Ford Trucks & Panels. We do allow any make Panel, and there are always some members whose truck isn't running or finished who participate in whatever they can .

WOW SWEET!!!!
Must have been a great time. What great pics. Thanks.
Lee
P.S. is that a ranchero up near the front in the first pic? Was it a 60-63? I like the skirts on the back wheels if it was.

Hey Lee, it's a 63 with a matching trailer, in case you didn't see the rest of the pictures. There are a few more of this combo there also. Looks like it was a good time, Trevor. Thanks for the pictures.

Thanks John,
Uh Oh, you just piqued my interest. My better half isn't gonna be happy with you. That trailer is definately different.

Yeah, the most obvious for us would be a trailer made from the rear half of a 67-72 to match our trucks. I plan on having a long bed trailer to match my truck eventually.

CACWBY...
Awesome pictures, thanks for the info. That is really neat, and I'm also glad to see some 67-72 stuff in there.
And for that trailer...How cool is that? Man, that is really amazing...front looks like the front of a car, the rear looks like the rear, and it has a hood and trunk. Really, really cool design. I bet that took a little time to complete.

CACWBY, I saw that Ranchero and trailer at a car show somewhere west of Kenosha when I was visiting there back in August...Or maybe it was another one just like it....

I will agree, I've seen some neat trailers, but that one is definitely one-of-a-kind! It makes you wonder just how much time was invested in something like that....the engineering that had to have taken place is amazing.
That looks like a fun run, Trevor. So what do you guys do? Forgive my ignorance, but what are 'the dells'? Do you have a cruise loop you make? How far?

He made the trailer with parts left from a parts car, he used a radiator support inside & across front so he could match up the front sheet metal, apparently Falcon was a uni-body so no frame to modify, but quite a few things had to be all custom.
...the dells! How do I best describe the Dells, this is an area North of Madison WI along the Wisconsin River that attracts tourists for a variety of reasons, years and years ago it was for the Nature (beautiful sandstone bluffs, trees, river, etc., then before waterparks and a Ho Chunk Casino, it was all Miniature Golf and Go Kart Tracks, now it's all of the above with a bunch of T Shirt & Fudge & Souvenier shops and it's crammed with Tourists from Memorial Day to Labor Day 24/7, thats why the Truck Show is always 3rd weekend in Sept. It's cleared out by about 50% then. Yes the cruise is a BIG Loop, about 75 miles total, and the guy who plans it always comes up with a good one, and rarely repeats - has a couple stops, lots of back roads. Great Fun.
