1971 Ford truck operators manual

Post by 71-F-250SC-72-F-250C »

I cant beleive my dad never told me about this. It shows how to identify the the VIN number on your truck, and it also shows how to adjust trucks with bucket seats. It also shows a pic of a F-350 "Special Body Model "instrument cluster, which I have never seen before. I only took a pic of the front of it, and I havent looked through all of it, but I will take more pics after I am done looking through all of it.

Took some more pics. The F-350 gauges look like the old bronco gauges. Kind of interesting. I know keith has a operators manual like this, because there are pics of truck that came out of the manual on here. Has anyone ever seen the F-350 gauges?

Can't say I have ever seen a set of gauges like that. I also have an F600 gauge panel that I plan (someday) to put some fancy autometers in to use in my truck. Did I mention "someday"?

Heep70,
Whats keeping You from installing the F600 Panel?

This is mine I'm working on.
-The Fuel Gauge will go in the Big Circle after I cut it out.
-The Red and Blue are Warning Light's:Blue is Water temp Warning and the Red isOil Pressure Warning.

I put the Tach in the center because I go more by it then the Speed-O

The Bottom 2 hole's will have a small Trans Oil Temp and Engine Oil Temp Gauge's in them.

After I get everything where i want it I'll send it off and have it Powder Coated with a Bright Aluminum Coating.

That special body F-350 instrument panel looks like it would be for a step van or school bus built on an F-350 chassis. Maybe a milk truck or mail truck? :D

Time, money, other projects, etc, etc.......... You know life in general. :o

That looks cool. Is there enough room to place the small gauges next to the RPM gauge? I know you have plans on putting them else where, I am just wondering. I want to put four small gauges around the big gauge.
