:wel: to the site. I know some time ago there was a few flirting around with the idea but I don't know if they ever did it. Anything is possible if you like fabricating stuff to make it work. Stick around I am sure you will get some feedback soon.

:wel: To the site :fr:
it has been talked about not sure who has done it on a f100. link http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... ng#p215754 . I used a bronco box on my F250. I believe it is easier to do a f100 than a f250. link to my thread some of the pic links are broken. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... =9&t=15700
what year bronco where you considering ?

Hey Brother of the 67 F100, I am doing the swap right now. My box is an 84 truck box and is turned around on the inside so the pitman arm is to the rear like it was originally. Stay tuned, I am doing a full how-to on it.

This is a 4x4x2 box from a 78. The images will show the swap from manual to p/s on a 70 f100 4x4. Rear lower bolt hole is correct. Red arrow shows grind area yellow arrow shows hole to use. Minor grinding to cross member tabs. Front and upper rear to be drilled out. Be sure p/s box is 2" behind radiator core support mounting hole. Using a full indexed pitman arm allowes you to set arm every 10 degrees.

Looks like we have the same box...

I also got a collapsible intermediate shaft to connect the steering column to the new box with CV joints.

That is most definitely not an 84 truck box. Those are U-joints, not CV joints.

i have the same box doug. i got mine from a 79 4wd. i was looking at it today. i was goignt o put it on my 4wd but i notcied my holes are the same as the holes on the 79 4wd box i have. my holes are of a 2wd box. so i will have to drill new hole to mount my 79 4wd box. if my box will work at all beause of the pitman arm direction on mine. it is backwards from what i will need.

do these p/s boxes turn the same direction as the manual boxes ?? Do f100 steer off the driver side or the pass side. I used a 78 Bronco box on my F250, looks se direction same as posted pictures. The box needed to have the rotation reversed to steer the F250 correctly. I swapped a 2by rack and worm gear in the bronco box, to make it turn the direction I needed.

That is the 4x4 box Doug, be sure the 2 wheel drive worm gear has been installed. When input shaft is turned right, pitman arm must swings right

I also got a collapsible intermediate shaft to connect the steering column to the new box with CV joints.

The box's number is E4 blah blah... Thus an 84 steering box.

Yes, they do turn the same way as the manual box.
