remember the 65 my buddy has with the hydraulic tilt front end. i found what the ram came off. it goes on a handycap van lift. it works great. heres a pic if you don't remember.

Those rams are called linear actuators and can be found at Grainger or McMaster Carr, they also use them on boats to lift the engine hatch, they cost between 100-150 bucks and are available in different lengths.
