past 72 Sports Customs?

Post by OldBlue67 »

Did they continue with the "Sports Custom" trim level for the next series? And if they did, did they use the same emblems? I don't remember seeing them on past 72s but I haven't really been looking either.

I'm having a...disagreement :P with a guy that is trying to tell me that a 72 F350 Sports Custom Camper Special is really a 76 :? it really should be obvious, but he's a chevy boy so theres obviously been some sort of brain damage

Liz, I don't ever remember seeing a 73 or newer Sport Custom but there may have still been an option package with that name. I know the Explorer package was still available long after they quite putting the visual identification on.
Arguing with a Chevy lover who doesn't know a 72 from a 76 may be an exercise in futility. :argue:

I have a 1973 Ranger XLT I have never seen a sport custom (built after 1972)
I have seen the explorer like willowbilly said customs rangers but no sport customs I think '72 was the last year ......

I once had a chebby lover tell me that ford never made a 360 , that it was a dodge/chrysler engine only ....some people

Post the VIN number on the truck and we should be able to look it up for proof.
