yup...

Ms Bebe is certainly a hottie...
I'm looking forward to hooking up with her again in August.
She does several Ren Faires during the season... so she travels alot.
She says she likes me 'cause I remind her of her dad...
hmmm... now, I'm wonderin' if that's good or bad...
maybe it's a just a nice way of sayin' "dude yer just too dang old"
I tried to catch a picture of her friend that plays the character of Gabrielle with her, but she kept disappearing... probably a good thing... she's a cute little blonde that would make a blind man blush... oh yeah !!

It's always a good time to GET MEDIEVAL !!!

Hey JZ...

Port Gamble is where I was this weekend...
June Faire / Port Gamble Medieval Days has been going on for 25 years now. It's a really cool cooperative effort between the town and the SCA. Together, they make it an incredible event.
The weather was great...
It got a little warm Saturday afternoon, but there was a nice breeze coming off the bay so it wasn't to bad.
It was really nice in the mornings and in the evenings...
The eagles were flying over doing their spring thing, but were far enough out that they just looked like spots in the camera, but you could see them pretty well just with your eyes.
Here's a pic over looking the archery range out into the bay.
That's where the eagles were dancing... they went behind the trees.
June Faire is one of my favorite events, mostly becaseu of it's location. And the weather in June is normally great...
When July/August/Sept comes, it can get pretty hot espcially for the fighters in armour.
The pic I posted of me with Zena was at The Renaissance Faire in Gig Harbor... it was in the 90's that weekend everyone stripped out to the least. The liene (long shirt) that I was wearing is natural linen, so it is actually a lot cooler to wear it and cover your whole body from the direct sun, than it is to wear a tank top and shorts.
I attached another pic that is from last year's Tacoma Highland's Games. A group of dancers wanted to have their picture take with me in full garb... it is the only pic of me that I have in full gear.. actually, I don't have my Claymore back sword... in fact I usually don't carry it.
The Celts much preferred the thrusting spear and a short sword called a ballock dagger. (The ballock dagger later evolved into the the Dirk that the Scots wear today with their dress Kilt. It no longer serves a purpose it is simply male jewelry to adorn the uniform)
While I am just a wee bit Scot, I am a whole lot Irish...

Life's just to short to not be Irish...
'Erin go deo' !!! (Ireland Forever !!!)

Dia dhuit, (God Bless)

Thanks for the pics Kaptn'. They have a Ren Fair near here, as well. I went years ago and had a great time. I have always wanted to make it back, but unfortunately never have. Maybe this year.

P.S. My favorite part was the Wenches. :P

Aye Long Bed...

There are many times I'd much rather be wenchin' than wrenchin...
Hmmm I guess that would be most of the time...
I am going to discontinue this thread under "Project Updates" I just thought it would be kinda funny to post that for the first weekend since getting Olde Skool home that I didn't spend the whole weekend workin' on the bus.
I am kinda at a stopping point with the old gurl. I ordered a master cylinder rebuild kit at NAPA, but it hasn't come in yet. The brakes are my next project. After that, just about everything else is cosmetic.
After, I get the brakes gone thru, I can start working on the conversion phase. I am going to gut a 9 1/2' cabover for appliances and hardware to convert he bus into an RV. That will be fun...

Take care,
