Drip Rail Trim

Post by jor »

I found some nice drip rail trim at a wrecking yard and I want to nab it. Anyone know the best way to remove it? Thanks.

Just use a standard bottle-opener. Wrap some tape around the end so you don't scratch the chrome. Works for me! :D

I still haven't gone back to the wrecking yard and gotten it. I think they want $10 for it here. Anyhow, I'll post when I get it as I intend to do it one of these days.

I HAVE USED THE BOTTLE OPENER TRICK ON TRUCKS AND MY 65 MUSTANG AND IT HAS ALWAYS WORKED VERY WELL.
