:( I'm still a unemployed statistic---not much longer, companys gotta lot of school work
:) So more work on bump---2 tailgates have turned into 1 tailgate
Image

My bedside panels are just about complete---finishing touches will wait until entire truck is ready for paint
Image
Image
So this week I'll concentrate(on yard work & the pool-or I'm gonna be unemployed and homeless   )the inside of the box and get it ready for Rhino liner or something of that nature
I've had enough and I'm not alone

 Way to much repair to 70---when my 67 is in so much better shape

This wasn't the route I was gonna go,but it's gonna save alot of time and
trouble for me. I need to do some research on what problem I may encounter.
I know the dash won't be right, but what other problems will I face?

make sure you use the pedals from the 70 the brake switch from the 67 pedals is different. I dont think the heater boxes are different just the controls
thats all i can think of as of now

 I'll make sure to do that,I'm on my way back out to start striping it out( :x ruined a perfect headliner--picking it with a engine hoist)and getting the doors off. I know door guts are diff.,but there the same as far as--hinges and strike pin--right :?

i think so but im not sure. The gas tanks mount differentlly and use a different size on gas line that screws into the tank
and not sure but might be a good idea to use the wiring harness out of the 70 cause the ignition switch is different in 67 and so is the brake light its
and of course a lot of cosmetic things are different

But also the radio is a smaller size....i found that out when i was gonna put a small am fm out of a vw into my 67

The 67 cab is stripped down and today I got to do some work on it.
Starting with lower door corner repair
Image
Had to patch inner panel and redo floor rail
Image
Slowly but surely fitting floor pan
Image
Before I can though---need to patch in part of the seam(firewall)rail and get cab corner laid out.

Floor pan fitted

Gas filler hole patched

Got the other side cut out ready to fit floor pan and the cab corners are getting bead blasted and rust trteated before they go back on. Some other patches need to be takin care of---speaker holes and misc. screw holes. Then I can flip it on its back and address the bottom cab support.
