no he mean alfartizein(farfugnugen). I too look at it like this. The other day in joplin when i refilled before heading home. This guy in a monster 10-12 mpg Ford Excursion or expedition, Asked me how can you afford that at 10 mpgs. I said i don't owe anybody any money on the truck.
He looked mad after that. I mean whats the point of a monster $550.00 payment if it means i can't go anywhere or live anywhere. Or even eat anything.
My income is at best 850-950 a month rent insurance and gasoline. Plus power bill equals 95%(and sometimes more)of that. And thats before I eat.
And in a months time I need to eat atleast half the time.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

i dont know about you, but my truck weighs 7500 lbs,,,,now a 4 cylinder wouldn't last very long w/ that much weight..

I agree that as long as our kid's are interested in our trucks they will remain in demand and as they grow up they'll be fix'n up that 70 the begged to drive for the first time.
I know my boys are just itching to drive mine and they are just 9 & 7.
My nephew is 24 and everytime I see him he asks what I'd take for the XLT. I tell him ....one day I give him the number.....
That is what will keep these rides on the streets.

Hey gang 2.16 a gallon in Joplin, Mo. Down it goes. I'd be happy if it just got to 2.00 or 1.90 Atleast then it would be 10 gallon for 20.00 and 18.5 for about 30-36.00.

I scaled mine, it weighed 6500 pounds EMPTY. And my little 6 cyl keeps up with traffic just fine, but after 60 I will be waving good bye to you in your mirror.

Hey gang quick update 2.13 A gallon in joplin. I think it is leveling. Last year or was it back in jan/feb/march? I paid 2.25 a gallon. Didn't it do this back in gulf war I? wasn't it .75-.90 A gallon National average before the war and .99-1.19 During the war? And then up and down. Until it stared climbing in 97,98,99 1.50 National average after the war?

3.25 a gallon deisel.
Edited On 10/25/05 By rjewkes @ 10:30 pm. The price of gas on the way into work was 2.09 a gallon gasoline 86-7 Octaine. And 3.09 Deisel.
And on the way out it was 2.05/3.05 a gallon respectively.
This is in joplin missouri. So at 2.29 a gallon for 91+ Octaine (My truck runs better on it)X 18.5 gallons= $42.365 or $ 42.37 For full fill up.
