its more of a repair than an upgrade but i would have to say headlights and adjusters....now i can see... :woohoo:
remember the key is to start what you finish....lol....happy cruising...

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

i just put a 67 swb bump on a 1988 f350 4x4 5 speed 7.3 diesel
and love it

remove the dashpad filled in all the holes and painted i think they look better without the dashpad.

The exhaust. 2.5 inch dual to muffler in front of back axle then 3.0 inch single pipe over axle and out passenger side behind tire. So far I have loved all the changes but that is the nicest so far.

Best upgrade - new 300 six engine.

Most beneficial and easiest upgrade - new bench seat from back of 1994 crew-cab.
67 F-100 Flareside, 300, Offenhauser 360, Holley 390, Duraspark and MSD ignition, NP-435 4-speed, 3.55 Dana 60, and it will absolutely roast 30" rear tires taking off in 2nd (the one time I tried scared the Bejeezus out of me)

Next engine mod: RV cam (252*)

disc brake conversion
- still got my first first car 20+yrs later : 69 f100 sorta kinda pretending its a Mercury M100 w/a 70 f350 sport custom cab (factory buckets) 67 grille with 69 ranger cooneyes 68 merc box and hood,some supercool fiberglass fenders i scored way back when, 76 f150 disc brake frontend..currently running a 90 5.0HO 4bbl/c4 auto & 3.50 posi...originally a 360/c6 f100 Ranger with dealer added towpack (incl. kelsey hays trailer brake),boxside toolbox,behind the seat stowage & belly tank...only original parts left on 'er are the frame,rear end,rear springs,and rear bumper...

Did another great upgrade this weekend - replaced all the lock cylinders so that I can lock and unlock both doors from outside again, and the doors match the ignition, all for around $40!

Here's what I did:

I bought the set off e-bay for about $40. There is at least one for sale right now for $40-$50 shipped, item #350438201964.

One note on installation: The door locks came as pictured with a flat armature which had a circle in it. I had to clean up the armature on my old locks and install them on the new lock cylinders, a very simple and rewarding process.

Additionally, replacing the ignition cylinder was very simple.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Insert your key in your old ignition cylinder and turn to accessory position.
3. Insert scratch awl tip or something sharp and hard into small dot on face of ignition cylinder and simultaneously turn key to left. I had to sharpen the tip of an awl with my grinder.
4. Remove old cylinder.
5. Place new key in new cylinder, turn to accessory.
6. Place key and cylinder into ignition switch.
7. Use scratch awl to push small dot on new cylinder, simultaneously turning key to left.
8. Finish pushing cylinder into switch.
9. Reconnect battery, driver her around, and lock the doors when you're done - without having to fish around for another key!

Hmm that's an easy one.. the best mod so far has been the WS6 clip with disc and power steering, second would be the steel tilt front end I made for it, I can sit on my tires and work on it comfortably......heck that's worth the price of admission.....

Best upgrade was replaceing the rusted out cab and bed with another cab and bed without rust.
