And Zach and I did get all the wiring done on the new headlight relays, (pictures in a day or so) nice bright headlight after driving my truck for years with "disco headlights"!
Another kinda' good bump day!
I would like to learn more about these relays.

Also, I'm digging those tires.

Thank you Bobby, (I'm right at 10-11 months since i started building the truck). Never thought it would take this long...
As of this morning the new flat bed already has my HD-44 front axle / my 4 X 4 C-6 and my spare 302 engine on the back!

Thanks! Sadly enough, it's about as final as it's gonna get for awhile except for getting a few bugs out.:(

Thanks, and thank you for your service so that I may live free! The new bed has been real busy the past few weeks. It's already moved a D44 axle/C-4 tranny/250 6cyl/and a bunch of other stuff. I was really glad to get the truck crane back into use.

Thanks Frank! Hope you've been ok, hadn't seen you around here much. :?
BC # 16 is now my daily driver, here she is taking me to breakfast yesterday:

Image

I'd forgotten how hard the full west coast mirrors made it to get through a drive thru!

Image

Zach and I worked on a couple more of my circuit breakers and relays today. We got the mirror lights and all the bed clearance lights working via relays except for one, (I think the LED light is bad/not enough daylight left to troubleshoot/back on it tomorrow). I'm still waiting on a new set of spacers for the rear, then to the alignment rack real fast! I've got some vibration in the front end that I'm almost sure is alignment related. I've never had the truck on an alignment rack, and I've done so much to the suspension and front end through the build that's alignment was a given... :(
I'm not real happy with my top end of the truck, but also knew about what to suspect with my engine and tranny combo. I'm turning 3K at 55 MPH, so that will pretty much be my top end for awhile (until I can afford a gearvendors or overdrive tranny in the future).
At my age...I've been needing a good reason to slow down, guess BC # 16 will be it!

Thanks Steve, it aint' much but should hopefully get me around for awhile.
If I can just get rid of my wheel vibration...

Well, after chasing down "no brake lights" this morning...(the terminals on the supply fuse were shot/had to install an inline fuse for now/and replace the brake light switch/I was finally able to spend some time on my relay box wiring! :woohoo:
This would be an ASE mechanics nightmare to open my hood, (which should never happen) to see this!
Image

There are five relays with bleed resistors and circuit breakers for the following:
Low beam headlights / high beam headlights / bed and west coast mirror lights / west coast mirror heater(s) / auxiliary cab circuit (fan/12V outlet). I got "triggers" for each circuit from the existing truck wiring, (the same way a headlight upgrade to our bumps is done). I want to add two more relays but have to stop here until I can get a bigger feed for all the juice! :D
Image

Here's about one fourth the wiring it took to wire all the bed led's:

And here's a few pictures of BC # 16 with my little girl in the back, in the pasture by the house all lit up!

And one more with the antique plates and BSKCASE plates!
