Re: Death wobble - need to fix quick!
I think you're going to see more sideways axle movement using crossover on your truck because you have longer shackles with the superduty springs.
FWIW I ran a 92 balljoint 60 under my '70 for awhile using the tie rod and drag link from the 92 F-350 and it worked fine with 4" springs, there was no problem with it except for using the 2wd Ford steering box which sucked.
Dana steering arms are forged steel, nothing particularly special. You could pull the steering arm/kingpin cap and cut the arm off and weld it back on so it fits on the passenger side pointed forward. I've done this with a 1975 closed knuckle Ford 60 which has a steering arm real similiar to your axle and I did it twice with later kingpin 60's. I weld prep beveled and preheated the parts to 350 degrees and used 7018 or 8018 stick rod. I did full pen welds, needle scaled after passes while still very hot and and left the crown of the welds proud of the surface. I don't suggest everyone do this because it's not something that should even be attempted with 110 mig welder.

Be sure to re check everything after a few hard miles in the dirt, for some reason on my old ram and my bros jeep they come loose quit often. Did you use nylon nuts? Or lock washers?

Re: Death wobble - need to fix quick!
I gotta say I am not as supportive as some on your solution.
I feel the tabs on the drag link are WAYYYYY too small to be safe. I understand it works, but there is a difference between working and being safe. I think you will rip them off as soon as you get in to some rough rocks and the PS starts to push and pull...
At least you put it in double shear...
Also, what are you doing to correct for the push-pull situation on the leafs? it appears the radius arm is going to push the bottom of the leafs out every time you hit a bump, and pull it in on every rebound. How often are you planning on replacing the leaf spring bushings?
Again, I know it solved the problem, but at what cost down the road?
Best of luck to you.

Re: Death wobble - need to fix quick!
yeah, but with the panhard (track bar) only being on the truck on the street, where the leaf springs barely move anyways, I don't see it wearing bushings out too quickly.

Yeah hear that leaf springs are suppose to do the work themselves just a f-350 thing having the trac bar with leafs.
