Comet. I was reading some of that today, not sure if Dennis got fired or what, he is off again on again as moderator/admin there, just like a new bride's panties.

Them NW guys sure give ol' Ken the gears, then lick his butt, then give him some more gears.One day he will just go postal and wipe out the whole chapter and all it's members. Read the thread about splitting up the NW chapter from last month if you want to see the main gist of it.

I imagine a few of the NW guys will be sliding in here with their tails between thier legs soon. As an outsider to both places, I find it mildly amusing. More fun than any reality television, but without the digitally blurred-out topless women.

Hey JC, that's pretty funny Yeah, I heard about that too. I don't quite get it either on the NW guys because you are right about them pushing buttons. I sure did a whole lot less and got booted (in fact, I did nothing). I think there are a few guys there that really carry the load on some of the tech stuff and have a ton of rep points, so they get a lot more slack.

I still meet with some of the local NW guys. Wasn't going to post this, but since you started it! They told me that Dennis got fired as an admin. Apparently he sent a harassing e-mail to someone

When I first started surfing boards about 67-72 F100s I kept coming back here lurking because there was no BS and drama going on just a great place that is full of knowledge and thats when I decided to become a member and I havent been back to anywhere else since. Thanks Keith, this site is awesome and I have learned SOO much from ALL of you!

Yep, anything technically worth a hoot that might be lurking amongst all the backstabbing and grumbling "elsewhere" on the web is just not worth the search. Of course if you missed today's soap opera digest, you might enjoy that sorta thing.

Just who do you think you're calling normal??? We all spend hours and kazillions of hard earned dollars on old Ford Trucks for crying out loud.
Heck I coulda bought a new 4x4 350 crew cab for what I spent on mine (don't rat me out to the wife!!!).

But yes, seriously, considering that we started with just a handful and have grown to a parking lot full, and we are basically self policing we are doing pretty good- and yes, many big thanks to Keith and his volunteers.

Ken's big issue is he's doing it for Money now (he has a laundry list of sponsors now), and thats the main thrust, everything else is window dressing to impress sponsors with how much traffic they get. No problem with someone trying to make a buck but you have to wade through an awful lot of "stuff" to get a little info here and there
