100 MPH is pretty fast for the shrektruck. She'll do it but every time I do oil goes up two dollars a barrel.
Now the Kawi.....
100MPH in second gear, gotta slow down to merge with traffic.

The fastest documented speed I had my 70 SB up to was 107, and that was going through the traps at the end of the strip. The front still had a little lift and I was still feeling the seat pressing on me. A few months later I had her turning about 850 more RPMs than that on a lonely stretch of highway. By my figuring it was about 125. It felt like about 300 though. The front end was pretty stable unlike what some folks have reported, but the wind noise was kinda spooky. And that old saying about still having pedal left is nonsense. Mine was turning a steady 5500 RPMs with the pedal halfway to the floor. Pushing it to the floor did absolutely nothing. Didn't even budge the needle. That was as fast as she was going...part throttle or full.

I have only been able to do about 80 in my old 68 because the c6 would do this surging slipping thing. But when I was there it was nice other than thinking about hoping I didnt loose a wheel of the old clunker.
