I think on two-toned trucks Ford may have added the primary color right on top of the Wimbedon white...My '70 had the original paint when I bought it and matching numbers,and where the yellow had completly faded the white was showing through...
There's a guy in my neighborhood that has a totally cherry '70ish shortbed crewcab sitting on top of a late model frame,and his is red and white two-tone without the brightmetal and it looks great,but probably because it's a crewcab....Otherwise,on a standard cab I think it may look incomplete...
