According to LMC Truck when they say tinted windhseild they mean green tint all the way through.

And a shaded one has the green through out plus a darker band on top of the windsheild but that is only the windshield i'm talking about.

Nice pick of the factory tint wing window got both? and the door window to match? how hard are they to install?

And How hard to remove the old one.

Hmmmm. Mine doesn't have a band on the windshield. Boy that tint must be very subtle. English cars sometimes came with "sundym" glass, which is very similar, but you can tell at a glance that the car has it.

Well, it definitley has it, I guess I wasn't expecting it before. Cool.

Its hard to tell its tinted when you don't have another glass to compare it to. That pic keith has shows it perfectly. The build sheet on the 71 said it had tinted windows also. I had to go out and look because I did not belive it...guess I did not pay enough attention. Was green the only color tint you could get? I thought it was green because the truck was green. Also greenbank, that is cool your truck came with disk brakes. I have heard of that option, but I never knew of truck that actually had it. Wish I got lucky and had that option on mine.

If you have factory tinted glass it will say Sun-X somwhere underneath the CarLite oval script. Original CarLite glass is also typically date coded, the number and letter under the script indicate year and month of manufacture. Tinted glass from that vintage is always a green tint. Later replacement glass will have CarLite in block letters, rather than an oval script.

Ok i know that this breaks down to:
131" Wheel base 8' Bed Tu tone Metalic sequoia brown over wimbldon White.
4550 lb suspension. And U4 means ranger XLT Styleside. G means automatic C-6 in my case. 02 means 4.00 3330# Ford rear axle. Wich some one replaced with a 3.54 rearend. vehicle wieghs 4550lbs fully loaded? and 196 Hp at engine becomes only 156 h.p. at the wheels only a 40 H.P. loss. at 4000 RPMs and the D.S.O 53 for kansas city.

So I'll see what the new tag looks like when he gets it to me and Post what it looks like.
