dcbullet,
I will take a few shots of it in better lighting as quick as I can. It was dark right then but my son tried to snap a few pix anyway. Then the batteries in the cam died so I have to get more.
Yes its hard keeping crap out of paint in the open. Especially just before dusk.
I've learned that wetting down the ground and everything around you helps, but some trash is inevitable.
I probably could have done a better job had I not rushed it and shot color in near darkness. I could/should have put up some plastic sheeting around the tarp framing as well. But Im not sure there would have been enough room inside to walk around the truck had I done so.

Thanks for the kind word. Yea, I wanna see it finished too.

spartman,
Thanks, I've worked hard for this and even though its not as perfect as Id hoped for I thinks its not bad.
The color is an 05-06 Ford color called Light Tundra Effect. The color code is DV.
I was originally going for a much lighter color more like the 05-06 Ford Mustang GT green called Legend Lime. But when I looked at it in the chip book it looked like it had a lot of gold in it. So I settled on what you see.
My son was excited when he saw the color on the truck. He told me (After I shot the paint) that he wanted my truck to be silver but didn't say anything because he knew I was set on green.
Well, this color turns out to have so much silver in it that it kinda looks like a silvery green. He (My son) said, "We both got what we wanted. I like this color".
So that made me happy.

Anyway. perfect or not. Its done so my next order of business is to finish prepping the fenders, hood and doors and get them painted and put on.
Once I get some new door, windshield, and back window seals I can put the glass back in and the doors on. Then get started on putting my wiring harness back in.

Hey,you're doing great,my man  ...Keep up the good work and the peace in the family...

Adult Attention Deficit Disorder....What did you just ask me,again? :D ....It's the old standby when one wants to blame his or her procrastination or laziness on some pseudo-psycho-undetectable affliction...

Well,if you did live next door,I'd know I could borrow your paint gun 8)

Adult Attention Deficit Disorder, I have it also. Maybe we can make a road trip to Jax and check out your new truck, Shark.

Yea, fire up the grill, throw back a cold or or two, and tell a few lies to each other while we plan the next FORDification swap/meet & greet. Southern style. 8)
