What's everyone's opinion on the best turn signal switch available? Mine is only a couple of years old and the self-cancelling function has stopped working. I can replace just that part of it, but by the time I've pulled the old switch apart and spliced the new wires in and everything else, it seems like just as much -- if not more -- trouble as installing a whole new switch. The (broken) one I've currently got came from Dennis Carpenter and it looks like everyone is selling the same one; at least, they look the same and are around the same price point. There are NOS ones available, but people are asking crazy prices and the plastic is still 55 years old, so I'm disinclined to expect much durability out of it. Is there a better option available? Should I just accept that it's going to break every few years? Has anybody rigged up a homemade solution? I'm open to suggestions
Thanks,
Chris
