Buried mom Saturday, spent time with the family. Too hot to work outside on the truck, so organizing stuff in the house. Had to get all the parts out of the dining room to make room for family gathering last Saturday.

Ordered a few items for the Pearl this week, just waiting for Keith to send them out. New rear window slider, rubber, windshield stick, IVR and new carpet.
Yeah I know Keith doesn't actually send our stuff out as special treatment because we are members here.

Made another order yesterday from DC. Headlight doors and grills, cargo and parking light gaskets.

LMC stuff arrived yesterday, carpet, rear sliding window with new rubber, and IVR. Today one order from DC arrives, and then tomorrow or Wednesday is the other. Hopefully weekends won't be so busy, and I can start in on more work.

Making baby steps. Since I damaged the old heater box during refurbishing beyond repair I ordered one from EBay that wasn't complete for 80, but with my parts, it was complete. Heater box is finished and almost ready to be reinstalled. New 4 pin resistor, hole will need to be slightly modified to accept it, but ready non the less. Receiving the remaining LED lights this week. Parking gaskets ready to install once I receive the amber LED lights to go in. New headlight buckets installed. New grill inserts in left and right side now. Correct horn ring purchased from EBay for 39 dollars plus the plastic retainer on the back for 3.99 arrive Tuesday, will need to focus on finishing the steering wheel resto soon. Right now on a much needed surprise 3 day weekend get a way with the wife for our 31st anniversary. She is asleep, almost 8 am and time to get up and get ready to check out. Let her buy a few more things before we head home, to justify all my purchases. (I let her buy a Mickey and Friends holiday train to go around the Christmas tree {morre for me but we won't tell her} yes we are at Disneyland Resort for the weekend) Ohhhhh forgot the most important thing. I became a Patpa (grandpa sounds old and I'm only 55) on October 21. I sure wish the gallery was working, so many pictures I could upload.

And those "baby steps" is what took me 8 years to build BC #16 to where I wanted it.
Your progress sounds good and I'm jelly' of the LED's!
