I am confident that you will have no trouble getting that floor fixed. As for the cart here is the one I just finished.

Nope.
Between winter weather and rebuilding the engine in my son's PT Cruiser, I haven't done anything to the poor truck.

Still good to hear you are working. How are your hands doing if you don't mind me asking?

Re: '71 F-100 Rehab
Sorry for not updating this thread in a while so here’s a quick update…
Life has really interfered with this project since my last update. I lost my Dad in September 2020 to COVID so the following months were not very pleasant to say the least. I’ve also been fighting anxiety from the pandemic due to me and my wife’s heightened risk factors. I’m just now getting that under control…
As for my hands, they’re not much better and the side effects of the meds are almost as bad as the tremors.
So where am I at with the truck? Frustrated but not defeated. I’ve had an unexpected project opportunity come up that will put this one on the back burner for a bit. The deal still hasn’t been finalized or widely known in my circle of truck friends so y’all will have to hang on a little bit. Stay tuned - more is to come.

It's either push through them or give up and let them win.

Re: '71 F-100 Rehab
Afternoon all! Since the deal I hinted at earlier is done and hauled home, It's time to reveal the big news - I picked up 2 '71 F-100s earlier this week and hauled them home yesterday with the help of a friend.
First - '71 F-100 Sports Custom parts truck...
Yes, that's a '72 grill, but ALL of the trim and badging for the Sports Custom package is there and straight. It also has a dealer installed Ford AC unit which I will eventually put in the truck below. I just need to figure out how to remove the trim, polish it up, and install on the other truck.
Next - '71 F-100 roller...
I know it's hard to tell from the dirt it picked up from the several miles of dirt road before getting it home, but the bodywork and paint was done a few years ago. The previous owner is a good friend of mine who sold me my green '71. He was just getting started on finishing it when he had some serious health problems. While he was dealing with that, his shop was broken into and practically everything that wasn't bolted down was stolen. He's now facing more health issues and he started working me over to take over his project. I finally gave in and agreed to buy the truck. The Sports Custom was tossed in so I would have enough parts to finish the job.
