2004 bucket sea swap?

Post by Zorm »

Has anyone tried to use something other then the 96 down seats? found these https://pensacola.craigslist.org/pts/d/ ... 06881.html Its cool the have the integrated shoulder belt. I know anything can be made to fit, but, just wanted to see if this has been done and if any issues with fitment.

Our cabs are too shallow for most newer seats. The steering wheel will be in your belly and knees in the dash. Each generation of truck added an inch or so of door length to the cab.

I'd look for something out of a smaller SUV. I installed a pair of Dodge Nitro seats in a '93 D100 Cummins swap. They fit really well and that this was ridiculously fast.

I wouldn't buy those seats just because the drivers edges are always trashed. You can go measure some in the yards and see what you have to work with. I love the flat hard fabric covered seat in my dad's '03 F-250 but alas, it won't fit in mine.
