Transmission oil cooling line connectors
Hi all,
Can anybody please tell me what the dimensions of a 67 F250, Transmission oil cooling line connectors are for the radiator and transmisdion side, and where to buy them?
I'm planning of using brakelines for cooling lines, is that going to work?
I forgot to take measurements, and my truck is back home in the Netherlands, and I'm in the US right now. I've been to a couple stores and they couldn't help me.
Thanks.

Berry, this may or may not help you, but Inline Tube will sell you new lines that will go right on just like OE. You MAY be able to get them from NPD if you are near one of their locations or have a US shipping address...

Thanks.
Yes that would be ideal, I’ve an US shipping address that‘s not a problem either. The thing with that however, is how do I get the lines in the plane back home with me next week. I fly KLM, so bring it in the cabin is a nono.
But thanks anyway.
I was figuring to use flexible rubber tubes now, of I can find connectors for that anyway.
Thanks again.

Re: Transmission oil cooling line connectors
Not my truck but on a '74 Dodge Dart my connections were so corroded that when I tried to remove the lines from the radiator, they twisted and cracked. I cut them off and used compression style brass connectors on the lines. Had some high pressure hoses with swivel connectors made at a local hydraulic hose shop and bought the corresponding brass flare connectors for the radiator at my local Home Depot. That way it didn't matter what size they were as long as I had the right thread on the radiator and they all matched flares. The rubber hoses gave them some flexibility and it looked really nice.

Re: Transmission oil cooling line connectors
Thanks, yeah that's an idea as well. We use different threads in Europe, that's the most important for me to know right now, what thread do I need, since I forgot to bring an old one with me. Brought tons of parts to compare with me, but this I forgot.

Yes, they should fit. This is from a '69 Mustang radiator. All of my truck radiators are from manuals. You can also just buy a generic transmission cooler and connect it with rubber hoses.Berry67F250 wrote:Thanks.
