Mild bed corner rust

I have a couple small rust spots both in front and behind the rear vertical bed seam on the lower bed corner. Is that seam gonna cause me any trouble if I just put in a single patch panel, cutting over the seam. The seam is gonna get filled anyway. Pretty small patch 6x6 or so. Thanks

Yes just cut out the rust and weld one patch.
