Watched the video she sounds good! no exhaust leaks and idling smooth! remember driveable and enjoyable is the rest. Stop the rust preserve it but when they get perfect you get scared to drive them. Think you have done a great job getting to where you are.

lastly today I added the front FORD logo to the hood. they are Chinese repos and the O is MIA because I snapped one of the pins that was bent. JB weld is curing and ill hopefully insert it tonight when I get home from work. The supplier said he would look for one in a broken up set. We will see what becomes of it. No biggie.
Have a great day everyone!
p.s. thanks manny man for watching my vid!

next steps would be.
to replace and patch the floor. LOL
get the gauges working. e.g. speedo and gas gauge and possibly the amp meter
...hopefully some of that comes back to life when I swap out the volt reg for the panel.
and to get the heater box in mo better condition and get all that mechanical stuff hooked up. So ill have defrost and heat.
Winter is coming. like it or not.

I already have the HVAC switch or whatever u call it.
Just don't know or remember how it all hooks up. Gonna go back and look at that link sarge gave me so I can upgrade the blower motor.

thank goodness this truck is mostly mechanical and not electrical or id be even more lost.
these are more notes for myself but figured I share.
thanks all

received the last piece in the last group of parts I ordered. I got a rubber grommet set for my firewall and whatever else I may need em for.

this is the current state of my cab. :/ not the greatest but works.
Gonna be nice when I don't have "peep holes" in the floor.

Did you find Magnum 500 with a 5x5.5 pattern, because if you did I need those....

Wheels for our trucks getting hard to find. Always though American Racing Salt Flat Special would look good.

Hey great progress! It's the little stuff that makes it fun to drive... like heat and lights.
I like the first and third wheel option. I've never liked option two- but that's me. Keep it up

no I did not duckryder. I did see the spacer/adapters that will make our 5.5 to 4.5 or something...is that possible?

the outlaws I remember from my younger than I am days. My dad had em on his monte carlo or Malibu or whatever it was.

I got all the knobs working but the 1st one for the blower. the blower wont blow and the knob wont pull out. I hope I didn't ruin it when I sprayed wd 40 on it. also I may not have it wired correctly or grounded right, we will see as I will get back to it at a later date.
