ignition switch issue
I recently changed out my ignition switch and its working fine. Issue is I can't get it tight enough to quit turning when I turn the key. Cant figure it out, am I missing something?

Yeah, those can be a real pain sometimes. It's hard to get the bezel tight enough without the special tool ford had for the job. I've always just used a screwdriver and hammer, set it in one of the slots, and tapped the screwdriver with a hammer to get it snug enough. Unfortunately, this has a tendency to nick the bezel a little. If you're after show quality, you should get the tool. https://www.google.com/search?q=ford+be ... 8&oe=utf-8

Re: ignition switch issue
well I figure dout if you arent an idiot it isnt hard.
I did not have the boss on the switch in the notch in the dash correctly. Got it slid in right and it tightened up just fine. Of course now I realize my key is crap so need to replace it and the tunbler.....
