Hi everyone I am new to this forum, but have recently been thinking about the CV swap for my 67 f100. I see a lot of people doing it, but everyone has a hump in the bed. I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to do it without it.
Thanks.

The CV swap is the front suspension. Unless you're asking about swapping in a cv rear end. You can run the stock 9" rear, a 8.8 out of an explorer, or anything else but some require more work. The 8.8 is basically a bolt in job.

The ones you are seeing with a hump in the bed are full body swaps on to CV frames.

The other reason you're seeing 'c' notches or humps, is because the leaf springs are swapped from over the axle to under the axle.
