Drip Rail Trim removal

I have got a cab with almost flawless drip rail trim and I want it removed so that I can blast and paint the cab. How does it fit on and how does one go about removing it without damaging it? It will possibly be going up for sale after removal so I need to be as careful as possible.

Put masking tape on an old fashioned can opener and use the flat end to lift it off. Works great
