I just tacked in my new inner and outer door skin on drivers side. They look good and straight. Have door lines perfect. But the bottom gap seems a little wider than before?? It's a fingers with all the way across. Thought it was tighter before hand?? Just wanna be sure before I finish spotting welds.

The fit and finish of these trucks isn't the best to begin with.
align the door up to the cab corner , then the fender to the door.
if all that looks good you might have to live with the bottom gap
It's been so long since I've seen an unmolested truck ,(Michigan) I'm not sure how big it needs to be.

Dark colors also will help hide door gaps

Thanks thstsxwhst I did and it looks fine. Actually seen a 69 today and ask guy if I could look at it. The gap is about the same. Thanks for the help.
