Side molding rivet removal Questions

Couple of questions.

1) Is there a special tool or process to remove side molding rivets?

2) Do you use same size rivets (new) when you install them or do you have to use a slightly larger size?

All u need is a drill bit that is the same size as the rivet and drill them out. Some might try to spin on u but if ur careful u can reuse the clips if there not brittle.

LMC Truck sells those clips if some of yours break. This link will take you to page 94 of their catalog, but they have some on page 93 as well.

I just used a step bit till it took the head of the rivet off then just pushed the rest of the rivet out with a center punch.
