best source for stainless steel body bolts

Post by 48prerunner »

Anybody have a good place to but stainless steel body bolts for the fenders hood hinges etc. I know scott drake makes them for mustangs and totally stainless sells the whole cab bolt kit for $212 but was looking for a less expensive option with a sort of stock look.

Not sure about body bolts but I bought the engine kit for both my truck and my Fairlane from https://www.alloyboltz.com/catalog/index.php Both kits were high quality, great labeled packaging and the 289 engine kit (I've only installed it) was perfect. Every bolt was there and correct. For under $50, it can't be beat. If you know the specs for all the bolts you need, you might call them and see if they have/can make the kit you're looking for.

Thanks for the link they show a pic of the indented hex bolts that would look stockish, but when you click it no luck. I gave up the stock idea after a bunch of searching, totallystainless makes a whole cab kit, but I went a different way. I went with flathead stainless and aluminum finish washers.Image

I forgot about this post sorry. I was ordering stainless deck screws and I found this company http://www.albanycountyfasteners.com/

super fast shipping for me.

The other screws and washers I posted above I bought off ebay. The washers are actually for 8mm bolts but seem fine so far

what i might use for my hinges.
