Hi Beautiful truck! Love the color,
We are painting a 67 F150 right now and the man who owns it say the color is wrong. It is Rangoon Red and thats what he wanted, it is original color. But now he insists Rangoon is a much deeper red and not so orange, He wants it all repainted the "real" Rangoon Red.
It looks just like your color and I am sure it was mixed correctly. Did anyone else have any Rangoon Red problems, or is just the one guy?

Looks exactly like my dad's 63-1/2 galaxie 500 when he restored it about 20 yrs ago. It is a beautiful red. Did you use enamel or urethane?

I'm not a paint professional. However, to my understanding, Rangoon Red has a orange effect to it. You could also search some Mustang forums as well. Some of the images I see on Google show the orange.

Rangoon Red is one of my favorite Ford colors and I think it looks fantastic on this truck.
