cutting windshield

How do you cut a windshield? If I lower a roof what do I do to get my glass shorter also.
The glass is tempered right? It will shatter in small pieces if I try to cut it
Any help is appreciated.

Windshields are laminated , so they can be cut .
But they are prone to breaking, just chip an edge and they can crack.
You will have to find a very competent glass man to fit a windshield on a chop top.

By the way the side / back windows are tempered and can't be cut .
Those will crumble into a million pieces.

To cut laminated glass you score both sides with a glass cutter and snap the glass at the score. After snapping apply heat lightly until you can pull the pieces far enough apart to slice the plastic with a knife. Better yet pay someone else to do it.

I think the ''bump'' windshields are not easy to fit a chopped roof. The shape or something. If you can reach Kieth (Fordification) he can let you know.
He tried it without success I think.

This... You cut the glass and fit the roof to it, not the other way around.

you can cut the windshield, look on HAMB for tips. or you could sink it into the cowl. the side and rear glass will have to be made, easy to get.
