Re: Calling all f100/f250 Prerunners
I can't stop looking at the pic of the awesome jump wheelie! So rad!
BTW i am probably not racing the VORRA 500, instead taking the money and towing the race truck to lucerne for the august cali 200 memorial run. A buddy with a f100 prerunner might come down if i go as well, and nick (brodozer) said he will go if the truck is together and i'm about to check with the dzrt hellrat guy with the built f100 (the one in the DR photo shoot) then i'll contact some more f100 owners and we can have a massive f100 meetup before or after the memorial run.
I have a project thread in the project update section but this thread could use a new picture of my truck anyways

Re: Calling all f100/f250 Prerunners
Glad I located this thread. My son and I are building a "Pre-runner" style truck for his first daily driver. Truck is a 1969 F100 LWB , 300 six. We are installing late model 5-speed , We are using the Auto fab 3" lift springs in front and doing a hanger swap in the back to level it up. I 'll try to take some project photo's and post them up. This is a budget build, so we are doing everything as low cost possible. We just got a '73 I-beam assembly with disc brakes for some lawn mower repair.

Re: Calling all f100/f250 Prerunners
Can anyone recommend a shock for our application? We are going with the 3" lift from Auto Fab and need a extended length shock, for a daily driver.

Here is a couple pics of our progress: We are still working out the rear ride height. It is setting really high in back right now.
