The last time I talked to him on the phone 2 or 3 months ago, well the same time I talked to you last Tony, he still was without a computer and had lots of craziness going on right then. I am not sure where I have his number, maybe one of us should check in on him.

re: cobraF100
The last time I heard from Chris was about 2 months ago. There was an issue with a part he'd sold someone here and I contacted him about it. He got upset and replied back in an e-mail explaining what had happened, and then finished up his e-mail with "That's it....I'm through!" Since he did have a lot of other things going on at the time, I figured I'd let him have his space, figuring he'd contact me when things mellowed out, however I haven't heard a word since then, and I also noticed that that was the last time he's logged onto the site.

Wow, what a bummer.
I hope chris can get all those damn monkeys of his back...He's a good soul and people with worthy souls will overcome their demons. Chris will someday realize the error of his ways and return to the Brotherhood.
Why you might be asking?
'Cause he has too!

Spoke with Chris on Sunday
As a matter of fact he was at Bob's in Miles checking on his truck. About 2 weeks after we were there Cindy got her new assignment orders and sent Chris ahead to secure living quarter for the family , her and the kids had been living off base in a trailer with everything ie computer in storage , He has been staying in a motel trying to find housing , oh by the way she was assigned to Camp Carson??? anyway its in Colorado. Chris returned to Killlen this week to retrieve his family , Cindy was cleared and released from post on Saturday . They are probably in Lubbock on sunday nite . he said he found a house but it wont be ready for about a week and a half and then they have to wait on their stuff so could be a long as a month out , but he shall return as soon as he can get to a 'puter.
He was a little put out as several of us and we know who we are have various sources of contact info for him and have failed to keep in touch but that could be a bit 2 sided as well . Any how he wanted everyone to know he and his are well just in transit ,"uncle Sam at his best". I let him know that we all have him in our thoughts and prayers.

If you talk to him again, appologize for me. In all the craziness of my last few months, I lost track of his number (and yours too Tony) I can't figure out how it happened, I had everything written on old envelopes and scraps of paper on the dash of my pickup. Maybe it was that crosswind when both doors got opened at once.
Tony, the cell # you have for me is shut off and I have a different annoying piece of crap now. I'll pm you the new one.
I get to Dallas once in a while, mostly to MCI's shop. Maybe we can do lunch sometime.
