Re: 1967 F-100 project
Well, finally able to get some time for truck work. I finished up the dolly I'm going to use to work on the cab. I'll bring it home this weekend, hopefully, to replace the front mounts and cab corners. I'm thinking about pulling the cowl also.

Great progress!
Did you put any rubber spacers in between your leaf springs when you put them back together? I'm debating on doing that.

Glad to see you back at it. I think it would be cool to put a dent dash into a bump.

I think it should work. I did finally get the 89 F-250 that the 351W and ZF-5 5 speed and TC are coming out of this weekend. It was a steal at $550.

Yep, got some from the local suspension shop, along with the new clamps.JWW wrote:Great progress!

Would you care to take a picture of where you placed the spacers? Thanks

I'll do it next time I'm at my brother's place, that's where the frame is at right now. I'll double check my pics, though, and see if maybe I have a close up of the springs.

Re: 1967 F-100 project
Here are a few pics of the 89 I'm getting the engine/tranny out of. Not sure if I'm going to use that factory EFI, or go to an aftermarket, Depends on how much of a pain it would be to use it, so I'm saving everything off of it for now. The only thing missing off of the motor is the alternator and it's brackets. I'll have to get another one, I want to use that serpentine belt drive.

I've got an 86 EFI(351W)laying around...maybe it would have been better to use that than rebuilding 390 got have the FE but I do wonder if I can make use of anything of it67nukeford wrote:Here are a few pics of the 89 I'm getting the engine/tranny out of. Re: 1967 F-100 project
I was going to put a 390 in this truck, but since I plan on driving this a lot, I decided to go this route. I have a Super Duty for pulling stuff, and I'm not making a race truck, so the 390 will go in another toy, maybe a Fairlane!
