why does it have two speedometers? one in the cluster and one beside it. Nice gauge panel! REALLY thinking about swapping my bump to the F600 panel.

It's a 1958 JEEP FC-170. I own two of them. It's got an inline 6 flathead, I believe its a 256. Classified as a 1 ton. The bed is a 9 foot bed thats actually longer than the wheelbase. They used to make an FC-150 but discontinued production because of the tendency to roll over onto its nose during braking. I think it had a 7 foot bed.

That´s cool that you own two of them! I guess they´re quite hard to find, huh? Is it also a tilt-cab?

The guy was driving one around as his daily driver and then found another one.(pictured). It was in much better shape, so he made the other one a parts vehicle. It is not a tilt cab, I think it was illegal to produce something that cool in 58'...

Re: Let´s see some Ford C-Series trucks!
I just noticed this thread, Florian, and I can see now that you have a thing for these C series trucks...Great memories for me...I told you on the other thread that my dad drove them all thru the 60's and 70's...The cool thing was, a couple days a week his last stop was close to home so he would just bring the truck home, and take it to the bar, grocery store or whatever...I spent many hours and miles with my dad and siblings riding in the C series trucks...I remember my dad coercing my older sister when she was about 17 into driving the truck to the grocery store about 5 miles away while he rode shotgun drinking a beer and one of my brothers and I sat in the middle...The front seat was huge...
This is the point...I'm....talking about everybody! I'm talking about form! I'm talking about content! I'm talking about interrelationships! I'm talking about God, the devil, hell, heaven!!!! Do you understand???? Finally!!!!

Hey Joe!
Yeah I really like those C-Series trucks Never saw one in person though, I guess I would need to come over to the states to see one
That´s a cool story! So did you also get to drive one of your Dad´s trucks, or where you still too young for it then?
Florian.
