service manuals on CD/DVD, do they exist?

Post by bwc302 »

Does anyone know of a source to buy service manuals for our trucks?

I have seen them for other vehicles from $49 -$69 for the complete set.

Thanks,

Bobby

Did a search on the net and found this one. I can not tell if it is a complete set or not through. If so, $49 isn't too bad I don't guess.

I have the Detroit Iron CD that Bobby linked to. I also have the regular shop manual. I prefer the paper but the CD is handy if you want to print a photo. The drawback to this CD is that it is simply a jpeg reproduction of the shop manual so you can't search, sort, report and so on. The shop manuals are common on eBay.

thanks jor, I would rather have one I can do look ups on (like a pdf).

images lose much of their quality when they are resized.

I will keeo my eyes open on ebay and the site and see what comes along.

Thanks,

Bobby
