re: Question???

Post by thebttmline »

found the complete serial number. F25AEA59504 There is a star in front and behind the serial #.
So it looks like a have a F250. I now am going to check out past post to find out how to figure out the rest.
Mine also has the stars before and after the VIN that is on the rail.
Using Keith's VIN decoder, it looks like you have:
F25 - F250
A - 6 cyl, 240
E - Made in Mawah, NJ
A59504 - Serial number, indicates it was made in Dec 1966, thus a 67 model

Good Hunor Man...

Go up to the top of the page and click on the 1967 by the VIN Data...it will help you decipher the entire VIN and then some.

IIRC, The "ODDBALL" F100 CS/SCS also have an 8 Lug pattern as they have the 3/4 Ton Suspension. And the flexomatic.

No, the F100 C/S doesn't have 8-lug wheels. It does have a beefier rear suspension though.

What does a build sheet have on it? Is it more than the basic info that you get from deciphering a VIN?
