And if mine is not ready for the road I'm going across the street and ask the little old widow woman if I can drive hers. belonged to her late husband and she starts it about every 2 weeks and backs it to the end of the driveway and back to the garage door 4 or 5 times, racks the pipes 10-12 times puts the window shade in the wind and locks it up till next time
I've expressed interest in it should she ever decide to sell it

Just got a new job, can't risk taking off so early in the game but y'all get something a bit closer than the other end of the state from me, and I might be able to make an appearance.
Enjoy though and send pics!

My Betty has only been a Sunday driver,...As soon as I get some touch up work done on it,I'm going to sell my rather comfortable(but a gas hog nonetheless) '97 crewcab and replace it with some basic four-door sedan for when I just do errands or need a four-seater,and I'l drive my Betty when I need a truck,....which is almost every day...
My son drives his '69 every day(I've gotta get him to join here, this place needs some young blood)....I had a good talk w/ him yesterday...gas went up about $.75 a gallon since he started driving it,and I asked him if he wanted to go back to his Nissan because fuel is so much....He told me "no way"...So once in a while I hand him a twenty and tell him to put it in his tank....which is usually good for maybe two days of driving for him,...and a few extra chores done around the house....

Well we are waiting for Mary to Pop out the Baby......
Keith and his Wife are expecting a Baby around the first of Oct. and he was going to come South to Houston to see his Family and stop by here for a day and we were going to have a little Baby/FORDification Party.
So everything is up in the Air on the Exact Day.It's going to be a wait and see but it should be around Mid November.
Wish I could tell you more but it's all in Mary's hands,or should we say Stomach.....
Keith,
Don't let Mary read this OK....

So whatcha got that's making 500? I see the build on a Shelby aluminum 427 block with all trick stuff and punched out to around 500 c.i. made 600 something with some custom made 8 bore efi system.
