My truck has the VIN F10YKB19685 (Kansas, April 1967). It has the slots and not the holes for the cowl lancing.

A 67 F100 a friend and I parted out was A44,*** NOV/66 Kansas City built and after going back to the photos it had the round holes

Its possible that the change didn't occour in all plants at the same time, although would think it would be within a month or two at the most...

Yeah, I'm sure that's how they did that. Each plant just used up the existing cabs until they ran out and the new ones arrived, so depending on each plant's production numbers it would probably vary a little bit. Sounds like any one with a '67 should double check what style mounting the cab requires. Could go either way

I wonder if the cowl sheet metal change was made at the same time they stopped stapling the buck tags to the firewall. Seems to me it was around April 67 when the tags disappeared...
