Huh? WTH am I doing posting a pre-'67 brochure? Well, I just thought this one was pretty cool. This won't pertain to or affect anyone here, but it's worth checking out.
Up through 1960, Ford used a different parts number system, one that started getting crowded as newer cars had more options and various parts available. Therefore, effective Sept. 1, 1960, Ford implemented the alpha-digit system that we're now familiar with. This 16-page brochure is a basic primer to the dealers about why such a change is in order and how the new parts numbering system would work.
