If you don't subscribe be sure to get this Issue and go to page 92 & 93, Artist Jimmy Smith has done some very nice renderings of Three different 67-72 styles (even a kool krew), all of course are totally slammed and smoothed.

Anyway-it's more fun than usual.

Hey, we even had one of our trucks make the August '05 issue of Car Craft!!

OK OK, so it wasn't a feature....it was more an accident that it was even in the pic, since it's the tow vehicle for a freakin' Camaro. But then again, isn't towing Chebbiess what Fords do tend to do a lot of?

i wonder if hes been to this site? because its pretty strange that 70 crew cab has the same rims as mine. i just don't have the spinners caps.

Yep, Jeems is da man! And he's a Ford guy. He has a slammed '64 (I think, might be a '65 or '66).

I still think they look like a rolling telephone booth when you slam them without chopping the top. Not a lot though, maybe 3 inches or even a 2-3 chop for just a subtle roof rake.

I went looking for that edition yesterdayday but all I could find was the June issue. Oh well...I'm going to subscribe to it finally.

I also found another magazine on the rack called 'Vintage Truck' with a two-page spread in the Aug. issue of a backyard 'restoration' of a '70 F250 4x4. I thought it very refreshing that a magazine would feature a truck with paint overspray on the tires and a few pieces missing in the grille. I'll post scans later.

a big thumbs up to Vintage Truck (even us non stockers like it).
This is one of my must keep subscriptions, used to be This Old Truck but the @#?! lawyers at This Old House made them change the name.

Yeah, I've picked up VT a few times and thought about subscribing. They'll send you one free copy to review if you are thinking about subscribing. Keith, that's funny that you found VT, but not CT. VT is not carried by just any mag. rack.
